Hi,
Im new to ore and im looking for some advice for lifting my 91 terrano. Im not wanting to spend a lot of money so just want to replace the rear springs and wind up the front then get a wheel alignment.Got a couple of questions so here goes. How high can i go without replacing the factory shocks? What would be the best value springs to do this? Where would i get these from? If i wanted to go higher what else would need replacing and how much more will that set me back? What size tyres would i then be able to put on possibly with a bit of guard work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
James
terrano lift
Re: terrano lift
I did a 50mm lift on my terrano....50mm lift king springs(your local tyre shop should be able to get them) and wound the torsions up at the front, and longer shocks wernt needed....I was running 31x10.5x15s with no rubbing and was told I should be able to go 32s with minimal rubbing on rear wheel arches....
hope this helps

It gets expensive if you want to be legal though, you need a cert for any body lift, so add $350 odd to that price if you want to be insured
