GOODYEAR WRANGLER AT/R TIRES

Post by long »

Anyone brought any of these lately i brought a set of 4 Dec 1st and from the day they were fitted i had bad vibrations probs went back to the dealer 4 or 5 times they would reballance them and every time they were out of ballence.
So i took my 4x4 to another shop got them to ballance them while they were being done we noticed that 3 of them were out of round one front tire had 135grams just on the outside of the mag wheel.
Once again back to where i got them from they checked them out replaced all 3 of them
even 2 of the 6 new ones were out of round so much you cloud see the tire tread moveing up and dowm about 6-8 mm then the boss man told me that this is a common prob with these tires since Goodyear NZ have been getting them out of South africa and not aussie or the states

Ive got a set of 31 x 10.5 x 15 that have done about 30,000km on the surf. Are about a third worn. Great tires for beach and gravel driving , handle the mud ok :? . Quite an aggressive tread for AT/R
I would consider them again.

No one is desputing the aggresive treat pattern thats why i put them on but 3 out of the 4 tires put on my 4x4 were out of round enough for them to replace them and if that wasnt enough 2 of the 6 tires got in were out of round as well not that all tires got in were checked untill fitted to rims.
