Post by PatrickChanSG »

Hi Guys!

Anybody heard of this product call Super Burn? It's from Thailand, the guys there are crazy over this! It's upgardes your exisiting VE Fuel Pump, to give you more torque, especially at the low end, and reduces smoke at the same time!

Think it should be available at your regular fuel injector shop. do check out this hyperlink for more details. :D

Nope, I don't own the company! Glad you think so highly of me :) Just that I've been travelling to Thailand very often, and I always come across this product so I thought I share it with you guys. By the way, I am in the tyres and wheels trading biz.

 EF, I was wondering how long before you noticed this post and had something to say about it...

Everything is a balance... and putting more power into a dodgy old diesel engine means something else has got to take more than its used to...

Any Diesel mechanics on here want to give us their take on this wonder-gizmo? I'd like a bit of proffesional insight into it...

:D :D steve i am a diesel mech by trade aswell as a cert welder..............................

over the years ive seen many of these so called enhancement devices ,and have never seen any good from them :x

its just like these diesel carbon cleaners ................some of the worst rebuilds ive done on inj pumps have had these type of treatments they stuff all ya seals ,seized on injector nozzles, and 99 % clean that harshly they take the coated lining off the inside of youre fuel tank and pump it all trough youre fuel system costing you a rebuild from ground up .and the prick still charged you 200 bucks, for a 9k rebuild(food for thought boys)

theres lots of ways to make a diesel go good and these arnt one of them.

im sticking by my post and im putting it down to experience

Hey guys! Oh c'mon! Don't get mad over this :D Let's keep an open mind about it. I've seen those carp as well, magnets and all, personally never believe those work, but given that the diesel engine population is rather big in Thailand, shouldn't it have credibility on it? :? I am not an expert on this, but it seems to be selling rather well in Thailand, maybe it actually does work right?

Oh, btw, i am selling wheels from China to Thailand, mostly 18"-22" for their pick up trucks! That's how I got to know about this product.

patrick,my arguement is how can this device increase..............

horsepower
:?: torque :?:

when youre not at all increasing the air or fuel ratio ,which is commonly known as the VE :?:

patrick without these 2 elements getting involved in the equation there is no way horse power can be gained :?: .and lets not get hp mixed up the torque.

 now does this only work with mechanical type injector pumps :?:
and i want to know how it is operated off the pump. :?:

From the description and pictures it replaces the plunger and spring in the injector pump.

The site claims after only a few thousand Ks of running your standard injector pump plunger and a few other parts wear and and stop opperating efficiantly. The kit replaces those parts with something that will retain its tolerences for much longer than the standar equipment, therefore keeping the injector pump functioning like new, increasing horse power and efficiency.

Would possibly have some benefit to a clapped out old TD42 injector pump like mine

But i prefer my Holley electric pump pressurising fuel into the injector pump. Now that made a difference!!!!!!!!

 yeah db quite a common conversion pressurising the fuel system on an aspirated diesel, even uping youre intake db youle get a good gain but alot of it is about metering the correct air and fuel thats the tricky part..............to making it go best.

just remem if shes blwin black just keep ya foot up it

 With the electric pump in place, its getting the fuel required and no longer getting crappy combustion.

juz made some calls, and managed to contact the manufacturer, DB's right! Was told that it helps to burnt the fuel more efficiently by tapping on the unburnt fuel which normally end up as smoke, thus explaining the torque gain. Unfortunately, it works only for mechanical pumps.
