Hi All.,

I have been saying that I can get synthetic at a good price here it is. :D

It's Amsteel Blue , China buy it bulk 1 million metres at a time thats why they can sell it cheap

the curency they use is the euro because it's the most stable Here are the prices and comparisions
Breaking strain Cost euro
9mm 7100kgs $ 2.47
9.5mm 7500kgs $ 2.89
10mm 9000kgs $ 2.96 NZ cost $$5.53 ,4WD BITS PRICE $9.35
11mm 10800kgs $ 3.35 NZ cost $6.26 , 4WD BITS PRICE $12.35
12mm 12600kgs $ 3.37 NZ cost $7.00 4WD BITS PRICE $ 15.50

Delivery to your door and it comes with ss thimble .
Example I have just ordered 35 metres of 10mm , Total delivered to my door $276.00 NZ dollars that included 33 euro delivery charge.
The first lot I got was 12mm that I on sold as it was to big in dia for my winch drum ,BUT It was couriered to my door wrapped in bubble rap and I got what I paid for.

The co. is "Friendunion" and the person I have been dealing with is" Lillian Lee" lillianlee@friendunion.com You can email him with you order and you will get sent a invoice along payment details, From start to finish it will take about 3 weeks for you rope to arrive. They also sell winches,

Cheers

Thanks Graeme. I will contact them and get some new rope shipped over.
I appreciate the continuous flow of info on this and the winches. Good effort for your fellow mud head.

Was that the 12,000lbs electric winch drum?

Just trying to figure out how much I would get onto my winch. I'm guessing that 35m of the 10mm filled up your Winch drum? Or could you get more on?

Cheers,

I am only going on what a freind of mine has on his drum , He has 35 metres ,But one of my other mates has a PTO winch and can get 50 metres on of 10mm, I have not seen a electric winch that will get more than 35 metres

As for me I dont know if I would go through Runva again, He has already stated that the prices would go up, How much I'm not sure, I will admit that I regret that I listened to others regarding the Runva winches , I should have continued on with importing the winches the way I was going, But that's in past,

I think the best way is to get a list and see how many want winches and see what his prices are if they are too high import them , I still have my contact

Micheal Ren, micheallence@163.com, He is a gold supplyer and to be a gold supplyer your service has to be good , He sells the same winches as Runva as I have found out that the winches are all made at the same place and different agents sell them, Some try to make more than others,

If you order through Micheal you will have no problems, Just ask for the latest price list.

Cheers

I think that would be about right as a rule of thumb give or take a bit for different brand winches and rope diameter, I've got 35m of dynex dux overbraid on my 8274, its specified at 10.8mm diameter and I've got about 1/2 a layer to spare on my drum so I'd probably manage to squeeze on a maximun of 40-45m

Anyone know how long the Chinese New Year thingy lasts for over there?
Seems they are all on holiday. Love to get me hands on some of that 10mm Blue rope.

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar. The Chinese year 4706 begins on Feb. 7, 2008.

Chinese months are reckoned by the lunar calendar, with each month beginning on the darkest day. New Year festivities traditionally start on the first day of the month and continue until the fifteenth
