I own a 4wd so I don't have to walk

just ask everyone what they've driven over the last year, and then go open all the tracks that no one has driven.

that was easy wasn't it

Mark me down as a possible Tony.
I might be able to drag my arse out of bed that early on a Sunday morning.

I am hoping we can get a few people who've done a few of the older tracks and point us in the general direction and give us more challenges so any body who knows where they are please turn up........getting bored with the same ones

There seems to be a track at the bottom of the Sisters? (the two hills leading away from the Donut).
When going downhill and just before getting on the main track where the downhill veers sharp right onto the main track there is a bog right in front of you. I have tried once before of getting through there (not a chance, what was I thinking  ) Once through this bog though the track goes left into the bush and through another bog. Don't know where or how far it goes after that.
But I reckon that first bog is just the right size and depth to fit a particular white Surf :D

And at the top of the Sisters there is that really overgrown track that goes downhill.
Where does that go?

The train horn might be more effective.....his missus will wake up first and then beat me up and then wake him up and beat him up....his neighbours looked a bit rough too .... hope I can run fast

Sure do! we found one when I was up there. Battered Vitara 400mm in front of bonnet. All I could see was the Brakelight  :!:
A certain other South Islander backed out of that one. Something about his paint....

Thanks Tony (TAZ01) for organising a great day out of the Welly Chapter of the ORE Tramping Club   nah it was a worthwhile day out looking at the tracks, we found some good ones to open/reopen...... there was even a very minor bit of track clearing and Cloggy broke some more landrover and Tony's front diff finally crapped out. the Bonnet Map on your truck Tony was a fantastic idea .... needs cupholders for the next one

Its worthwhilst doing another one of these... whens the next one Tony.
