hey guys i have a set of hilux hiffs for sale but i need to find out what ratio they are!
i know i have to mark the input and hubs, turn the input and count how may turns it takes to turn the hub.
and then ?????????
any help would be grate.

turn the input and count how many times to get one rotaion at out put side.
This is the ratio ie, 4.3 turns to get one output turn is 4.3, 4.88 turns to get one output turn is 4.88.
I think that is right.
if the diff is out of the housing and you can count the teeth on the ring an pinion do that and divide the ring (bigger number) by the teeth on the pinion (smaller number) to get the ratio.
If I have this wrong someone will tell me and I will edit this so i look like I know it all and deny any untruths on my part.
