whos truck can we steal, coz I'm not taking mine.

last time I was on the widowmaker we were sideways up the 3rd slope and broken down, not good, and after that, the next time was spent winching and recovering a truck that had rolled off it.

True Jerry, time for them to step up and see if they can do it. Shall we leave the rest of it to Darwin?? Na, this country is to PC to let people take a risk and choose what they want to do

Haha yeah im keen to do that one again ill just watch where im going next time. The panel came out fine.

There is a 12 tonne Haitachi sitting at my place but that would be a little big for rallywoods. Cant see why you would want anything dug out anyway.

I'm with him.

the way I see it, is if Rallwoods management will allow it, you can put in new tracks that will obviously be easy to drive until a few trucks and rainy days have been through.

Then you should have a good mix of easy and hard and some in the middle.

I hardly know any of the tracks in there really, but maybe some with huge bogs need draining or back filling slightly so they are a little bit more user friendly. If theres a track beyond undriveable bogs at the start, then make them driveable and we'll have another track to do, etc etc etc

Don't need a four wheel drive to get to Green Hut, you can drive your car in there. Once there, rides won't be a problem.

For those that want to go in on Friday we will be there (just make sure you bring enough beer).

Due to security reasons ie dumbasses with POS cars wearing no seatbelts which we caught one car today the gate will be locked so I will post up regular meeting times at the gate. before you start moaning its for your security and you would be moaning if someone nicked your stuff etc....

SO IF YOU ARE COMING IN LATE ETC YOU NEED TO LET ME KNOW ETC

There will be 2 parties:

Tony: looking after the group doing more track clearing
Reece: looking after clearing up the Hut area in prep for its rebuild and then will become a track clearing party if they run out of stuff to do

(or thats the plan at this stage so far)

will post up further info soon (or Reece & Tony will later)

OK I have been reading a couple of management books and I think if we structure the working bee into the following structure it will run very smoothly and we will meet all expectations that we desire to proceed with our projected target outcomes and goals.

We will need the following management structure:

General Manager: Jerry
Exective Operations Managers: Reece & Tony
Operations Manager: Cloggy
Head of Operations: Stinky
Team Manager:
Team Leader Manager
Team Leaders:
Assistant Team Leaders:
Apprentice: 86 Surf
Head of OSH Operations
OSH Supervisor Manager:
OSH Supervisors
OSH Inspector Manager:
Osh Inspectors:
OSH Documentation Manager:
OSH Documentators
OSH Documentations Assistant:
Tool Procurement Executive Manager
Tool Procurement Head of Operations
Tool Procurement Manager
Tool Procurement Team Leader

We might need a worker in each team so I thought Curly and Saddam would fill these roles, we need an apprentice so 86-Surf will fill this role.

The other roles we will need to hold interviews, everyone will be given a fair chance to apply for these roles, as we don't practice the jobs for mates philisophy. With that in mind if you do not get the roles that you wanted then you maybe need to look at doing some courses to upskill yourself.

since we are a progressive and dynamic organisation who wishes to comply with ISO9001 certification so this is where we need to work on our methodology and strategise our future plans so we will be running a number of committees and sub committees as well.

We need to evaluate the 2 workers peformance as well so we need to work out a benchmark performance, as per other organisations we will be setting our workers targets over and above what they are expected to peform to help motivate them to perform better.

So with that in mind the earliest projected time we can expect to start working will be 9.00am monday morning unless we get an unfavorable OSH preinspection report which means that we will need to hold more meetings to resolve this report and then have another preinspection. if this is favorable we need a management meeting to discuss the OSH preinspection and give the go ahead for the 2 workers to start work.

Hopefully thats cleared everything all up as I know you were all concerned about the directions of the 2 teams especially the moral of the 2 workers.

We are having another management meeting this week to discuss the above and one of the things we are discussing is a bonus for all of the management for all their hard work and commitment. unfortunatly there is no specific budget for this so current thinking is a restructure of the 2 workers, I'm pretty confident that we can merge the 2 teams into one and get twice as much work out of the one remaining worker. This will be a fair process and the 2 workers will be invited to apply for the one remaining job, the lucky one will be more motivated have a more fullfilling job. not to mention the cost savings we will get.

Jerry, you have too much time on your hands.

What do you think people, do I need to moderate Jerry's own thread? Serious question. If anyone clicks the "Report this post" button it's gone
