No Idea, never been there before, however I'm up for giving it a go this sunday, just name the time and place. I'll come to the Murupara road at the Goudies rd intersection.

Hi
I wasn't planning on Minginui this weekend but something a little closer to Rotorua I will PM location to you and others tomorrow about 6 ish. Saturday Meet at Hemo gorge Poly Tech car park. that's at the crn off Old Taupo rd and the main rd into Rotorua from the south. The first major intersection across from Te ( something ) car park.
so if you are keen.. add your name to the list . Sorry about short notice ( not Really! if you want to do it then you will make it happen )

Dennis, if you're talking about the rec camp with the 3 cabins and the communal cooking area/fire, then you definately have to book it, and you will find that it is probably already booked for that weekend.

we book it a year in advance these days as its a popular place

thanks Skid I'll check on Monday and if its booked no problems just means bring a tent or ....something. There's plenty of room ( We are tuff!! we don't need mint chocs on the pillows ) And if its going to be a problem then toooo bad  I gave it a go... I can always go circuit racing my car or put another car down the drag strip.... too many toys not enough money
I'll also inquire about LPG

no problems... as Minginui will still be there!!! and I'm planning on another trip alittle closer to you Ham guys, towards August Sept when the rains have started. Went to that track we did a couple of years ago and its got better ( Or worse if you are a pussy)last weekend. Have video( 18 mins ) but dont know how to put it up here? Its very much like Minginui type of tracks

Hi all
due to interest shown and confirmed bookings I have desided to limit numbers to 10 total.. two groups of 5. Seven places have been booked ( non ORE members.... go figure :?: ) The local (insane) butcher has donated a couple of meat packs and a wholesaler has donated some liquid refreshments for the grown ups... 8)
Accomidation is available by contacting .. Gary Aldridge 07 3663235 or aldridges@xtra.co.nz
