Suzuki Car Alarms

Post by Dutch89 »

I have a Escudo 1990, just done head gasket timing belt etc... After i got it all toget her i wont start. Just found out it has an alarm on it M400 (small black box) Im wondering if this is std for Suzuki!

Some how i need to bypass it if it is - Can seem to get any spark at the plugs but all wires seem ok. But this little red light keeps flashing on the dash, disconected the speaker now cos im getting sick of the noise.

Cheers Hans

have a look to see if you can find where the alarm has been spliced into the main car loom. (Should just be a matter of pulling off electrical tape).
You can then remove the alarm from being in series in the loom, and solder all the wires back together as per stock. (All factory wires should be color coded, just a matter of matching them up.)
No more car alarm. 8) 8)
