Needing advice
Hiya guys im new to 4wd's and to this forum, however i have a question that you may all be able to help me with, I have a 1993 pajero swb V6 3000 completely standard, it came with factory alloys 15x6" and i have now been given some 15x8" mags for it, id like to put some bigger tyres on next run but not sure exactly how big i can safely go with the un modded pajero currently i have 30x9.50x15 (these are from my factory alloys) tyres i suspect with the wider rims i can go better? just how much better can i go without modification or guard rubbing
Re: Needing advice
I think they would be 15 x 7's that it came with. It is has the factory flares and they are alloy then they would be.
Since you have 15 x 8's now (is that measured or stamped as a 15x7 will measure 15x8 from edge to edge?)
You will fit 32x11.5x15 ok, maybe a little touch at the front mudflap if they are not the same offset as Pajero ones. 31's will definately fit, I'd be going 32's. Most of them only measure about 31 inches anyway. It is very easy to lift a Pajero to get 32's on if they do rub a bit. Torsion bar wind up at the front $0, and some old LWB springs in the rear $50.
Bear in mind your gearing will suffer, for the worse on and off road, but it is a price to pay for having bigger tyres.
