nice

So are you taking me fishing when I am up there later next week then??

Anyway got the replacement motor out of the donor wagon and also the old pos motor from my cruiser.
Just need to replace the rear engine seal and swap front pulley and she is ready to be bolted back in (thanks Taz01, Abbo, Turoa and Sadam for your help :D )

The hilux has been sold and the new owner thinks it would be wrong to take the 37's off her. So onto the whale with the 33's.

Interesting drive to the garage with the tyres at 6.5psi
They bagged a wee bit more with the Whale on them
I just felt sorry for the poor bugger that turned up as I started pumping up the first tyre. Told him I would only be a couple of minutes

Anyway he should of just used a bike pump for his mountain bike tyre...... because the car one didn't fit anyway

hand brake light is also a fluid level light, id say your brake fluid was low and when you fitted your new pads it would have pushed fluid back up into the resivour.

sorry to go off topic guys just giving him a heads up.

Got back from our second trip to the South Island.
met Tim, Kevin.
good blokes.
Saw HEAPS which will be the subject of a forthcoming newsletter.
My Siwsie LOVED it, was entranced with the solitude, beauty, and grandeur of our other bit.
Started saving to do the last bit.
Only thing is, every time I go there, I find more bits to explore!!!
Pity about the beer though.
Piss-weak and made in Auckland by Dominion Brewerys
HOHOHO so the best is STILL made in the 'Naki!!!
A Zillion miles of gravel roads, back country tracks, and just plain old interesting country.
I guess the Southroners would find the North just as different as we find the south.
Went HERE too.........

The SKIN?? My mate Bill wanted a hare or rabbit skin to make fishing flys.
So i shot one, PARTIALLY dried it, Siwsie moaned about the smell and looks, so packed it into a plastic baggy, left it in the sun to "ripen" and posted it off....... Bill was in his car when he opened it........

Well, pulled the engine out of the broken truck at last.

One of the rod-bolts came out of number 4's big-end, with the inevitable flailing, banging and crunching result.

This is the result, hence my search for a new short-block.
