3L D Turbo Conversion with 90 surf

Has anyone done this before or have experience?

I understand the have different engine mounts, heavy duty gear boxes, which were longer to, so im trying to source a heavy duty box to fit in my truck if anybody knows of one?

Just wondering if people could advise of potential problems doing this? And are the 94 3L D Turbo engines any good?

I've dropped a 96 3.0 1KZ into my 93 2L-TE Surf and theres quite a bit too it.

You'll need the 1KZ engine mounts + complete engine loom + ecu, exhaust + radiator etc..

The old loom will need complete striping... dash... the whole lot !!

Do you think the improve in performance was worth the work? how does the fuel consumption compare to the 2l-te?
