LOL!!

SH1 North over the bridge. Thro' Orewa, Warkworth, Wellsford and then Kaiwaka. About 8 k's after Kaiwaka you come to the turn off left - SH12 signed to Maungaturoto. The Swinging Cow Cafe is on the corner.
7 K's to Maungaturoto - unless you are dropping into my house for a coffee or beer - drive straight thro' and on 8 k's to Paparoa. 50K speed limit thro' the village past 4 sqaure etc. Go past the pub and the camp ground is about 200M further on the left.

Hope that helps!

Cheers and beers,

I took my youngest who was scared of the noise and my eldest who moaned and complained all morning!

We left at lunch but it has comfirmed for me that this is the way back into off roading for me.

Just need to find a suitable vehicle now........

I hope to be at the next round - if not next year.. :)

Was a good trip to try out my new tyres on the discovery tho' and I am well pleased.

Thanks Dan and others that set it up. Went bloody well considering the weather. Speed section was a ripper, lots of slippery hillclimbs and sidlings, good mix  Hopefully Db will post up some footage that Rotazuk took on his camera. Not too much carnage, Hard luck too 5imon only doing the one hazard before DNFing. Glen rolled his 110 agaisnt a tree in the arvo smashing the windscreen frame etc, but got it sorted. Bloody good day but yeah Im sure the tow vehicle got muddier that the zuk
And I bet Dan Image

cheers Dan and club, was a really fun weekend, and the layout of the hazzards was kool.
bet that property will host some good events in the future
my eight yr old was busy snapping pics all day, mostly of non moving objects like grass and trees, with no trucks so only a few came out ok.
Were like 300 of the rover laying onto the tree!! mostly from a foot away of the drive train lmao
