Country Life: North Canterbury People???

Hi im new to the site . Am glad there is a kiwi forum .I live in Nrth Canty and milk cows for a living .I was a towny before coming up here which was sweet to go 4wding with mates .But now im up here with funny days off it gets boring on your lonesome .Cant go as hard without a buddy to pull you out of that big hole you know you shouldnt be in . Any one else up this way with some good places . Cheers Ray

Hi Ray, just a thought , Mike Powell up at Mt Lyford ( don't know if he is still there or if he has the 4WD area ) had a 4wd training area that you could pay your money and go and have a play, you could spend all day there and not do all the tracks and obstacles, been a while since I was there but used to be a good day. May be you could make some inquires and may be put a trip together, even if it was mid week as there are a few shift ( and shifty ) workers here in Canterbury.
