Stereo Aerial.

Post by KiwiBacon »

Here's a rather mundane topic.
What's a good choice for a stereo aerial?

It's got to be tough and flexible enough to withstand branch hits, but still be able to get decent FM reception. It's also got to be rust proof.
The current one on my rangie has done okay, it's about 10 years old and has a large spring above the mounting foot to let it fold back. But it's rusted, broken and almost due for replacement.

Sounds like a plan.
I thought the one I had was stainless, until I moved to the west coast.

I got a 4-5 ft fibreglass flex aerial with a spring base from supercheap, cost about $50 I think.

Its great, awesome reception and the combination of flex and the spring is good when ya in the dense bush
