Re: wranglers, creepys or mudzilla
which ones did you choose? I'm trying to decide whether mudzilla 35s or simex extreems
Re: wranglers, creepys or mudzilla
Run 33" Mudzilla's on the Prado, fantastic in the mud, useless on wet rock, not bad in sand, need to be able to spin them pretty good to make them fly. strong sidewalls and lugs, wear pretty quick on the tarmac
What about the trepador

Depends what sort of terain you want to use your tyres on, I've got simex ETs on my truck but reckon the mudzillas probably perform better on a lot of the terain we have around wellington. My tyres dont seem to be as good on hard clay and rocky stuff as mudzillas but they come into their own when your in soft boggy soil where they can dig their way out

Easy choice...... buy yourself a set of each

Re: wranglers, creepys or mudzilla
dont waste your money on creepys. if you want a good tyre go simex ET or mudzilla. i think both are good but the zilla will suck more power being a winder tyre
but all comes down to the terain your gona be driving
good luck

Re: wranglers, creepys or mudzilla
hi guys. gonna be putting them on a solid axle v6 surf. mostly want them for very soft and deep mud and clay no rocks usually. i just use my bald 33 roads for the sand and they seem to do very well at 35psi. would be looking at 35x12.5x15 simex et2's or the 35x13.5x15 mudzillas. usually quite a fair distance on road to get where we go playing.

On a Surf, Iv'e personally run 35" Simex ET's, 37" Creepy Crawlers, and presently 36" Simex ET 2's; opinions & observations:
35" ET's - hands down the best mud & wet clay tyre I have owned; not so good in the soft loose stuff (sand, pea shingle, etc); can safely air-down to 16psi without beadlocks; wears very quickly on Tarmac.
37" Creepy Crawlers - Moderate mud ability, excellent on sand, pea shingle, hard clay (tread clogs in wet clay), snow, & rocks; can safely air-down to 4psi without beadlocks; these tyres crown easily on a Surf & road manners are slightly below average; offer surprisingly good wear on the tarmac
36" ET2's - Almost as good as the orginal ET in the mud & wet clay; better than the orginal ET over sand, shingle, & riverbed pea shingle; can safely air-down to 12psi without beadlocks; much better than the original ET on the tarmac (quieter, tracks/rides better, excellent wear).
In my opinion, your needs would be well served by a set of Simex ET2's.

i went for 35-11.5-15 simex ET2 they are a very good tyre i got them on ma safari non turbo.
ive only had to be towed out a couple times usually the tyres dig me out.

Re: wranglers, creepys or mudzilla
thanks leithfield and contour for the info. probably gonna go for the simex and the 36's just cause i can for a bit of extra clearance.

According to the simex tyre chart the 35-12.5-15 / 911mm(there biggest 35") is only 9mm smaller than the 36-12.5-15 920mm but is alittle cheaper approx $35-40 each(I would like to see them side by side to conform, simex chart not always correct)
Happy digging I'm sure you'll love'm

Mounted on rims, the 36 sits appreciably taller.

Did you have them at the last training day or were they 33's?
Lookin at 35's for my safari but will be a while off yet since everything costs so much. Then you have to cert it which is a kick in the nuts as well.
