Are there any reports yet of people having used these for recovery's?

I have seen a few cool mounting threads but haven't come across any reports on their performance.

marks winch worked well getting out of a hole on thompsons track , and know off three others with them one on a pardo , two on suzukis there were some motor problems but the importer fixed all with minmim fuss

does anyone know if or when there will be another shipment of these cheap winches i need one asap for my truck or at least the measurements as im getting a bumper made up and if theres gonna be some coming in the near future im definately in for one

Anyone want to tell me the difference between the EW and the GEW ?

If you go onto Runva web site you will see the diferance is in the gear ratio the gew is possible one of the fastest winches they sell at 210.1 the ones he sold us on the bulk deal are 233.1 a bit slower, But still they work well

We ended up getting them off Micheal at www.winch.co.nz.

We paid more than $400 per unit though.
