Land Rover Series II or III

Hey guys,

In the next few months, I'm going to have enough cash to buy one .... so if anyone hears of one in good nick (ie wofabble)...with or without WOF in Otago, let me know...

I've found 2 so far, the first one is too much as he has an almost complete one as spare parts.... the second, I'm hopefully gonna take in for a WOf in the next few weeks, only trouble is rego's expired so will need new one (ie $500 .

Someone told me the other day that if you get a new rego the car has to meet current emissions standards etc..... is this true?

Is Southland a bit to far, if not my old man has one .... its a series II (don't know year) 110 with a holden in it, I don't know if its still in the system, last I seen of it, it was sitting outside growing its own version of moss

It should be in good order, dad rebuilt it from the ground up about 7yrs ago and it would be lucky if its seen a yr of use since

if you go toward qtwn on frankton road, after the round about at frankton halfway down the hill there is a couple for sale there. though looking at the condition i imagine they would be over priced
