I might be selling a FJ40 Chassis on springs with front and rear diffs and a average (rusty) body if you are interested? Roll cage, soft top and front panels have gone to a new home since and could keep the wheels if your wanting to keep the cost down. Let me know...

what type of cab chasis set up are you after? there is a 70 series chasis (modified) and a body cut down to a ute on trade me for sale, thought about grabing it for myself if the missus would not kill me...

yea im looking for a 70 ute for work and quad transport, not to moded maby just bull bar,winch. does anyone know if you can cut down a troop carrier? i know older utes are rare

There wernt many sold 1984-1990 in NZ coz they were so expensive, they knocked the price down around 1998 when they stopped making the solid axle hiluxs so toyota could offer the cruisers as an affordable alternative to the IFS hiluxs.

Theres some still around from that era but theres not a very big pool of them and you've got to expect them to have had a reasonably hard life

I think Steve at 4wd fibreglass did the moulds for 70 series cab roof and back panel?

the cab on trade me is all steel and seems to be in good nick but would require a full build
