Daihatsu auto/manual hubs

Hi lads

Iver had a daihatsu rocky 1.6 1990 HD-E for a number of years, the auto hubs gave up ages ago and managed to get my hands on another set of auto ones(first mistake)...I thought I had them going today after a number of issues, but they seem to be having issues disengaging, makes a heck of a racket reversing the so called 4 metres to unlock them and sounds like they are going back in going forward, so there is alot of backwards and forwards involved...

...I wanna use this wee beastie for hunting transport.....

..so want a bit of reliability in these so hubs, so considering binning them and replacing them with manual AVMs

Does anyone know where from and the apporoximate cost?

Any help would be great.

try ringing around the wreakers out there may have to ring quite a few. try 4wd parts 2003ltd or what ever its called down here in dunedin they have a rocky in there. or look on trademe. i had probs with mine years ago and got manuals put on never looked back
