Welly Totara Park Trip

Ok got access to another property, this one is in Totara Park, . $10 per vehicle, $1 beer tax for landowner per vehicle, non NZFWDA Assn Members will be charged a visitor fee of $10. To join the ORE Assn PM Mark and he will quickly extract the $$$ to join for you

Hazards range from sort of shiny to err rather interesting, thoughts are to have a range of hazards to suit all vehicles. If its a club champs then the trip leaders below will be drafting up some rules.

This will be an ORE Assn trip due to the insurance requirements, however Forum members may join us upon payment of a visitor fee to cover themselves insurance wise.

The following vehicle requirements WILL apply, your vehicle WILL be checked, non compliant vehicles WILL be turned away

First Aid Kit
Fire Extingisher 1kg minimum
Spade and/or Shovel
PRS Radio



looking at the calender some idiot has booked some working bees so April is out what about the middle of May?? Please express interest here and if there are suitable numbers the trip will be organised. do you want to kill your trucks before the big queens birthday weekend or after?

I ain't organising this myself, hence the fine art of delegation so SUZUKI1K and TAZ01 will be assisting me organising this (there may be more and the delegated trip leaders may/will be shoulder tapping people to assist them )

Its a small 10 acre block at the base of the hill where you enter the aka's from the totara park gate. You turn off SH1, cross the bridge and turn into the carpark with the locked aka access Rd gate. The entrance to the 10m acre block is about 1-2 km down the aka access Rd beyond the locked gate

I would be interested as long as we don't have stupidly dangerous hazards

and I now have my 33' tyres and the 50mm susp lift is on the floor in the garage, will be fitted real soon

I have renamed this topic from "Welly Club Champs" as it is not an officially planned or sanctioned club champs at this stage. It has caused some issues with the planning of the actual event that is being worked on in the background at the present time.

So Jerry, Suzuki1k and Taz01 will be organising a pegged hazard day at Totara Park I guess. Once they have come up with a date and confirm the costs/requirements/etc they will let us know

I'll be in. Watching a challenge there not tooooo long ago it seemed a great place to have a bit of fun, although where they were doing it there wouldnt be much for semi-shinies as hinted, if there is something for semi-shinies I might see if can get missus along in that wagon and I use the "who cares" wagon
