Hi,
Well somehow i managed to split a cv boot on my terrano driving up a river in the weekend. I want to try and replace it by this weekend but not exactly sure what's involved and all the tools i have are at home up in napier except some shitty warehouse stuff. If someone in chch was ever so kind to let me borrow some tools and point me in the right direction for what to do to replace it i would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise where would i be recommended to take the terrano to get it done professionally at not get charged an arm and a leg. Its the inner one on the drivers side would it also be worth replacing the outer while im at it in case it decides to let go too in the future? Where is the best place in chch to get replacement boots?
Cheers,
James
Need a little help please
Re: Need a little help please
Never done one myself but as far as tools go I have a decent mixed up set of socket wrenches you can borrow anytime. Also good set of screwdrivers and drills but they are usually left at work and you'd only be able to use them for an afternoon or so :S
Offers there though.

Not sure if this will help or not.
But I split a boot on our 91 Pajero SWB, front inner boot at that!! Took it into our local workshop and they replaced the boot for about $150, all up. I didn't think that was to bad for a drive in drive out 1 day operation!!

Thanks for the offer Taz but I've decided I'll just to take it to NZ CV's and get them to do it to save the hassle
