was wondering whos wheel tracks we saw, looked like a set of creepy crawlers and a few sets of centipede's in your group ?
D.B and sez and me and my family went up to the top maratoto track camp for lunch and back out, just a gentle trip. was nice to see a shelter and BBQ and dunny up at the camp site, whoever put that up there deserves a Tui good on yer mate bloody awesum.
ohh and i put a new rad and water pump and pro comp gear drive cam gear in the truck cool (literally)
Does the gear drive make a nice wineing sound,you know thats why you fitted it
In the left hand side the wheel bearing had melted in the disc, lots of crunchy bits inside, the manual hub was broken as well (snapped internals), the wheel disc was stuffed as well thought now is that the hilux/prado spindles are not compatible with the manual hub conversion. On the right the bearings were dry as which we replaced.
The lack of brakes went away instantly which was being caused by the wheel bearing being loose.
Not sure if the issue is going to come back, may need to look at fitting 40 or 60 series spindles on as these appear to have a lip on them which the hilux/prado ones don't.

barely audible at idle and yes it sounds cool up in the rev range , but i really wanted to do it to get the timing spot on and add a touch of advance to the cam. the chain was sloppy as and had around 10deg of slack which isnt good.
the new radiator is the big deal tho, keeps the temp under controll so now i can actually give it some berries and not risk cooking it

am going through my maps to find a good trip up here i have planned got some ideas so just some scouting now and ill post the details..Put tints on the cruiser its been on 'the list' for quite some time..Had a look at my front brakes and discovered the hardline along the diff was squashed flat so i rang Just Cruisers and he said just come and get one.. Sweet how often do wreckers give away parts .. just new pads sitting on my shelf to do now ..Had another look at my new air tank and still scratching my head on how to mount it.. Maybee that will be on 'the list' for a while too..Designed a bull bar so just need a pipe bender and im away.. Question what sized hole should i leave for the winch to come im probably going to get a 10000 or a 12000 pound.. Cheers Ray

hiluxes come out standard with manual hubs so shouldnt be an issue
swb lux with 7mge, trailgear crossover, trailgear rear lift kit, custom front bar, runva 1200lb winch, custom snorkel, 37" Mtrs, custom deck, lockright in the rear.

Took the extra bits off. Now it works. Might want to consider resizing it though.

I tend to keep a copy on my own computer in full definition, but down size it for uploading on the net. Its not just the visual part (being bigger than the screen), but the bandwidth taken by the size of the file as well (particularly a problem for people on dial-ups - yest they do exist, and I am not one of them).

If you do a "right click" on the pic and save it to your desktop (or anywhere else) and then view the saved picture you can see it in full without the chopped of portion, theres something with the new site software that chops off the sides of photos

I am aware of that, I was just suggesting to him for future as it makes life easier to just see the full picture with minimum keystrokes (and keeps my desktop / temp folder clean).
