Easter drive around the South Coast (Wgtn)

Post by Bubba »

I know there is a trip around the Ynui Coast but I can't be shagged going that far just for the day.

I am thinking of going around the coast for a spot of fishing, diving, take the kids for a picnic etc. Might even take the tent???

If anybody else is keen then holla out. No set plan, not even sure what day, let alone what time, more than likely Saturday or Monday though.

Mini mum requirements for this trip are

1. a 4WD or good walking shoes
7. Your own beer
5. 15 beer tickets or a dozen green friends payment to me, coz I'm such a good bastard that I deserve it
9. Number 5 requirement is optional but don't let it stop you

you will need a long tow rope and a wagon with lots of power to tow me

I can assist but only in 2wd at the moment

so that would be a NO

I'll just keep sitting on the sidelines abusing ya all and maybe make a suprise visit one day to drink coke with ya

Shit I'm going to miss another oppotunity to go around to the beer brothers bach to drink piss, tell lies, make up lots of new stories, discuss landcruisers in depth, sit in the sun and get sunburnt (or is that fall asleep in the sun and get sunburnt) and all the other usual stuff you do around there :x :? :|

Yeha
Another couple of fantastic days to top the long weekend off. We managed to leave the wind at Lake Ferry and travel around to Red Rocks on Saturday evening.
Camped up at the bach on Saturday evening and had a beer or three.
Spent Sunday fishing( thanks wopass, I am converted to soft baits now  ) and sleeping in the sun and drinking beer and yarning and watching the boats sail by , while waiting for the re-enforcments to arrive in the evening.
Beer-Brothers put the net in and we spent he evening yarning around the fire.
Fantastic morning this morning with a net full of large moki and sunny weather.
Thanks for letting us crash at the bach. :D

yep turned real nice this side of the island , started out just curly12,katrina and me so after a couple txts suzuki 1k and young fella turn up well im on number 10 brown bottle by now and an old 20 litre drum curly found is now a camp oven a bbq appears bit late....... but im now on a liquid diet by this stage and late that night i have a bright idea of draggin my mattress out to the beach only to find that a 20 degree angle makes ya slide off into the gravel , daylight shows that i have setup bed on the road going past the bach yep few ales tend to throw common sense outa the window
turned out to be great day today even got to drag beer tara across the beach abit due to him down to 2wd kids had fun inbetween sqabbles and trundled off home bout 2.30
have now got axles out to replace bearing seals and one side needs bearings so onto repairs all week for next trip,
thanks beer brothers for allowing us to invade was perfect weather compared to the last couple of days on other side of island.
