Truck Lifts & Insurance

Post by Summit033 »

OK, so if I decide to do a suspension lift or a body lift does this have any insurance implications... :?: I have noticed in the past they always ask if the vehicle has any modifications on the forms - So if it has (and they are all certified) are they likely to hike the premuims up.. :?:

When I did all the work on mine they just asked for a copy of the certification stuff and the premiums stayed the same. (even after taking the front off a 2001 jag with a runaway rear wheel - Long story)

Ive only ever once had an insurance policy declined, and i said thats fine ill take all my insurace (5 policys) else where, and they quickly said hold up a second, so if you ever get declined, just tell them that another insurance company will insure you for less and they do it :-)
