It is way too dry on both sides of the waimak at the moment! Very dull and boring! Did it last weekend.

heading down the Conway saturday spending the night there and heading out to the beach on sunday. You would need a snorkel though, tow hooks and ropes. Should be fun as I haven't been down it since the last lot of heavy rain and I expect the course has changed and the bottom to be very soft.

Only got the new wagon 3 weeks ago so haven't had a good look around as of yet... A mate and I are going to do a recon at a track at jacksons (otira area I think) on sunday just to see what's there. But yeah waimak is very boring atm.

Did you get pics of these guys?

Where were you when they abused you?

Maybe they are the same people who have been abusing other 4wders down there.

I was told by some guys in the suzuki club that were also up there not to take the track that goes off left by a wooden post as you start heading into the narrow gorge as they have there patch in there, they looked like something off once were warriors  ,wouldnt have wanted to be there alone,Nick gave them a wave and said they wernt to happy

prob a couple of hundred meeters from the gorge they were in 4wds and acording to someother 4wds they saw them planting there dope down there.
was a good trip tho very soft p shingle down there you wouldnt want to go alone but also some chalenging rocks ect to have a play on.
zookfest got very stuck in some and had alot of water onboard but his bilge pump worked a treat, hes very light and even i strugled geting him out.
dont have any photos sorry to busy driving
