Cruiser AVM free wheeling hubs

A mate at work has a pair of AVM free wheeling hubs from his old cruiser (40 series I believe) and he has since sold the cruiser and just found these in the back of his shed.

He wants to get rid of them $120.

Not sure how I free about mine. :? :?
Although they are cracking from the allen head bolts to the hub they haven't let go!!!! :!: :!: :!:
Mite be a timebomb :roll: :shock:

From what I've heard (but never had any) the standard AISEN are the shit.

Just remember the early L/C 69>73? have a course spline and 74> on have 31 splines

Never seen a genuine Toyota hub crap out. but i have seen a good few Superwinch Hubs break there sliding dog ring.

I think Tom meant "The Shit" as opposed to just "Shit" :lol:

Aisin hubs are definitely the time-proven bulletproof pinnacle of hubs for Toy axles. I have one here with a broken spring, but I think someone said Vincent Truck Spares has the rebuild kits for them? Thats the worst damaged one I've ever seen from normal use. Most of them are 20 years old, full of water and rust and still trucking on...
