Surf water temp sensor

Post by NFORCA »

Hey guys. The on going drama of my surf continues.

The ecu is coming up with a faulty water temp sensor code. So i replaced the sensor that activates the gauge. Only to find out there is another sensor aswell.

Where is the sensor that tells the ecu the water temp? (1KZTE)

cheers

Todd

Cheers. Judging from that its up behind the oil filter. As soon as it stops pissing down, I'll go take a look.

Got it sorted. It appears the problem is that I'm a retard. When I installed the motor i didnt get the rear water temp sensor plug in.

Thanks for your link WJW, if it wasnt for that I'd still be trying to find the damn thing!
