if there is interest otherwise I can try and organise another location to go to, don't want to do rallywoods to death.....but if people want to go there and drive, escape the missus and party up etx then I'm happy to organise this.

Jerry wrote:TENTATIVE REBUILD DATES HAVE NOW BEEN CONCRETED IN

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATES

05/06 April
12/13 April
19/20 April

ORIGINAL DATE OF 1/2 March can be a normal trip or can be cancelled, please advise what you want to do here...more than happy to organise a boozy overnighter for those that want to escape the missus

Expected work: clearing site with digger, laying pipework, boxing for concrete, laying concrete, assembling new frames in prep for the following weekend, drinking beer, drinking even more beer, tall stories around the gazebo fire.

Are we still on schedule for this work on the 5-6 April Jerry and are we still looking at getting everything boxed up and the concrete slab laid that weekend?

here is the rough schedule:

Friday: Rallywoods open from 4pm

IF WE NEED TO MEET PEOPLE AT CNR MOONSHNE AND HAYWARDS PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY MID WEEK

Forecast is sunny sat to sun

Sat:
AM: demolish back of hut, bring sledgehammers & safety glasses, ladders, need a laser level, builders tools, (and builders cracks maybe  ), clear debris,
Lunch:
PM: Chris bringing his digger up to clear the site, whilst the rest of us will be prebuilding all the frames, need saws, who has nail guns?, once the site is clear we can prep the site for the concrete boxing, paul was talking about preassembling part of it if possible.

PLEASE BRING ANY RALLYWOODS BUILDING MATERIALS YOU HAVE THIS WEEKEND IF POSSIBLE

Concrete will be filled during the week or the next working bee, this might be a bit of work on sat and then driving etc then carry on with a bit more on the Sunday.

Health and safety stuff: last thing we want are any accidents up there so we will have a quick 5 min safety briefing which will outline the days plans, I will be appointing a someone in each team to look out for hazards (especially when the digger is operating) etc. if you bring kids up then its your responsibality to look after them or maybe get them dropped off sat PM after the work has been done? , if you seen any dangerous stuff stop it if you can etc (all common sense stuff)

Refreshments: I will have a young fella going round on his quad delivering the occasional refreshment, there may be a 10c charge for this per can and he will be keeping a "tab" (just tell him your name is Taz or Curly  ), responsible refreshments please, we don't want any issues here especially with power tools etc.

SIGN IN / SIGN OUT: please see me when you arrive and make sure you sign out, this provides me a record of who was there and helps me work out who gets the trip credit, and also if we have lost anybody.

NUMBERS: numbers would be handy by mid week would be good as Paul mentioned something about possibly supplying some little green friends to the work party.

Driving? yes we should have some time avaliable to get muddy etc...
