Newbie aahhhh

Post by drz400 »

Hi just joined up tonight. found this site when trying to find some info on intercooling my terrano.
Ive had a few 4x4s from suzuki's to landrovers and used to be in a local 4x4 club.
I love 4x4ing havnt done much in the last few years only just got one again after having a 2wd ute for a while. my main pashion is trail riding on my Suzuki drz400 nothing beats being on the back wheel.

Im a stainless steel fabricator and am allways doing perc jobs for mates.
Just about to start doing a heap of sheet meatal work on ford jail bar from fabriating the fire wall, floor welldeck, grill and other bits im sure the list will go on.

Cheers chris :D

Welcome to the site, from another Terrano fan.

Keep us posted on how you get on with your intercooling project and what differences it makes.
It's something I have tought about on mine too, but the space it takes up is a concern as I am wanting to put in a 2nd battery.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Hi thanks for the welcome ,

yea im keen to have a go at this. i see some people have put the intercooler down behind the left headlight.
But im gana try and top mount it but there realy isnt much room so may go for a smaller cooler yet?
And once i work my round this sight i will post pics of it when its done with all the problems that will pop up.
I have a 91 terrano 5 speed with a big bore goes good so would like to see any difrence it will make. 8)

yea the ute is gone, i swaped it for a nissan safari...and thats when it turnt to shit.
Did a straight swap for a safari from a car dealer. It was real tidy had a winch 150000kms.
I had it for a week and it was useing shit loads of deisel the 4x4 didnt work.
Things got very nasty and i lost $500 but got the ute back and sold it for good money.
