if say you put big ass tyres on a 4x4 would it be ok to use 4low with the hubs on FREE to help take off
and when you are going chuck the transfer box into hi box?
Providing your truck has shift on the fly??

i think its fair to say that if you need to do this then a; your tyres are too big(yeah right ) or b; you need to do something to lower your gearing..

Do you plan to use it off road if so your gearing will be too high but if its a show pony and you can do the above gear change with out it driving you mad then heres to you ?

I dont think any transfer boxes have syncromesh to shift between Hi and Lo while your moving?

Sounds like your theoritical tyres are way to big
