Hi Folks from a very wet and windy Far North,
Firstly, what an entertaining and informative Board you have here!
I've just acquired a 92 Nissan Safari Diesel SWB Auto with genuine 65k on it and in great condition. I hadn't actually been looking seriously for a 4WD but I was offered this and, given the condition and the price, I couldn't turn it down. I've always had a soft spot for these things as they just look so right. I intend to make it into a fairly (but not extremely) serious offroad machine so, as I go about this, I hope I'll be forgiven for asking some pretty basic questions. I can give back by sharing my experiences as I go through the process. I won't start asking questions here but I'll post in the appropriate forums.
Looking forward to participating in the ORE community.
And another.......

Welcome to the board (and I am not going to say anything about your choice of a toy).
Pictures would help us appreciate your find.

Thanks for your comments. Do I detect some underlying animosity towards Nissans
I'll take some pics of it in its current, original state and post them when I figure out how. I haven't looked yet, but I guess there will be something to tell me how to do it in FAQs or elsewhere if I do a search.
