TIGHTENING A LSD

hi..can someone explain to me as simple as possible how to tighten my hilux limited slip diff so it works better,it worked ok when i fitted it but not too good now only spins 2 wheels at higher revs not down low,so going to pull out and tighten hopefully...please explain what tools needed too :?

Never done one but I did read this...

Just take note of all torque settings as you pull it down, how many turns you undo each carrier bearing cap( don't know their proper name) and make sure you keep everything off the left side on te left side when you put it all back together.
I shimmed the spring with a thick(ish) washer, you can add a smaller spring inside the original one to increase the pressure on the clutch pack instead, but finding one that is a similar length and spring rate could be a pain.
I cleaned all the oil off the clutch plates before I reassembled them but I didn't sandpaper them, they seem to wear themselves out quick enough without sanding the grip off.

that makes it sound easyish so may have ago at it soon
