I've been toying with the idea of flogging off mine and getting something with a soft/removable top or a Saf thats already been modded a bit. Depends on how much I'd get for it though :S

203000ks, 1994 LWB TD42 24V High top. Roof Rack, factory sidesteps and bull bar.
Narva Spotties, Steel Snorkel and Unifilter.
Radiator recored late last year and new water pump halfway through last year.
31.5" AT tyres on standard rims that are about 4-6 months old.
Double bed in back the slides over folded down back seats so you don't have to fart around taking them out/putting them in. Frame under the back of the bed that has a wee sink (i've never used it but I think it has a pump built into it) and a 12V plug (comes in handy for mini fridge).
Otherwise its standard.
Little rough around edges. Has been bush and has scratches (not through to metal) and a few small dents. Flares and flaps ain't on at the moment either. Flares are damaged. Passed warrant without either of those.
Doesn't burn or leak oil or anything else for that matter.

About 400-450ks per tank (75L) if heavy booted around town. 500-600ks per tank open road depending on hills etc. The timing needs to be done so that might improve it a little.

Known issues:
Timing is out. Has been as long as I've owned it. Haven't really considered it an issue though so have left it alone.
No belt to the air con pump. Replaced the belts just after I did the water pump in and was a little low on cash so didn't bother with it. Its a waste of Diesel to have it going when your surrounded by windows I've always though.
Light behind the heater controls doesn't always light up but it only takes a week to learn where to reach in the dark.
Rev counter only works when it feels like it, which is usually for about an hour, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, then it winds right around to the stop.
Only known rust: One spot of surface rust on the roof where some plonker has stood on it instead of the roof rack which I assumed caused a bit of paint to crack, and a few small spots on the front of the bonnet and roof from stone chips.

Think thats it.

What do you rekon it would be worth to you roughly?

Edit: Shes got an LSD in the rear as well, and its a Granroad model.

Have you got any photos? Is it manual or auto . My email is michaelcolbert@xtra.co.nz .
My cruiser is a 1988 FRP 70 series, has a 13bt 3.4 turbo. 5 speed manual, about 167,000kms, 24volt, Has custom arb style bullbars with tow hooks and high lift jack points (built by 4x4 upgrades CHCH) , pto winch, alloy roof rack, snorkel, unifilter, spotlights, running boards, old man emu leaf springs 75mm rear lift 50mm front, nitro charger shocks, 33x12.5 maxxis buckshot tyres on ROH steel rims, modified diff breathers. Doesn't use oil, no aircon belt (same reason as yours) I've serviced it myself every 5000 to the km, manual hubs, haven't seen any rust apart from minor stone chips, two new batteries 6 months ago, uses about 12 litres diesel per 100km, dosen't like to change into second when gearbox is cold but after a few hundred metres down the road it's smooth as (only started doing it after I got garage to change gearbox and transfer case oils). Reasonably tidy would you be interested in a swap? If you flick me an email address can send photos.
Cheers

Yeah I think I have a few on a photobucket account but I'll have to track down my username and password for it. In the middle of shifting house so the computer with everything useful on it is of course the only one packed up in a dark corner somewhere.

Could you make up a frame and put a bed in the back of that? The missus isn't much of a tramper so camping in the truck is as bush as I get these days so I'd probably want a replacement that I could sleep in.

Shes a power sapping auto, and its a bit rough changing into second as well when its cold as well now that you mention it. Just over revs a bit before it changes but you get to know when to gas off a little and let it flick over which smooths it out. Manual/Auto hubs as well btw (the ones you change with the tyre iron).

Will try find my photobucket account info now.
