West Coast Easter Trip

Post by wjw »

Hi all,

Am planning a West Coast Trip for easter. Meeting at Kumara at 9am on 14th April (Good Friday). So far the Plan is:

Friday: No Name Road
Saturday: Cock Eye Creek
Sunday: ?
Monday: Short trip in morning, everyone head home.

Planning on staying in Greymouth so need numbers and type of accomodation wanted.

Also need suggestions for Sunday, somewhere easily reachable from Greymouth. Also any shorts people know of for Friday and Saturday PM's

Al, where was it you wanted the stay? the top 10?

DB, hear your back to, what are your plans?

Bill,
pretty easy tracks, what sort of numbers you looking at? There are going to be lots of dudes on the coast for easter. Have you thought about basing in Reefton and doing local trips around there. I will stayy anywhere there is a motor camp, I'll also have a 4mth old baby as well as the handbrake and boy. Will look at a room type situation.

there used to be an old dude running accomodation out of the old nurses quarters. Talk to Robbie, he will be able to put you on to him.

I hate to say it guys... but I'm not going, Zoe and the boy are coming over from the UK, landing on Friday, so am going down to central instead. Will stay in Wanaka, and goto Warbirds, then do some adhoc trips...

Cheers,

Bill
