Hey,

New member here from Wellington, just bought myself my first 4wd. A Bj73 Land Cruiser with Holden 3.8 V6 auto, with nice extractors and some Gt Radial MT 33's. Standard height though, its funny because I don't think I've ever owned a standard vehicle ever!

Anyway, I've been wanting to get into 4wd'ing for a while now and also was thinking I need a tow vehicle because I keep breaking my club car (wee Toyota Trueno with silly amount of hp  ) and the race track is 2hrs drive. So a 4wd seemed like the best bet for tow vehicle but can also be fun offroad as well.

Here are some pics:

Should get it on Saturday, first plan is to make a snorkel to get some cold air to that airfilter (read: hot air intake!)

I'm new to 4wd'ing so would anyone be able to suggest good places to get aquainted with how my new cruiser handles?
I know of: Red Rocks and that track at the top of the Akatarawa's. But what would be best to get used to driving it offroad? Keeping in mind Im used to cars with rock hard suspension that handle like go karts so this is a bit different to me!
