Hi Steve,

Reckon you can arrange for that wrestling commentator to kick it all off with a "LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!" 8)

I'm really looking forward to this event - good on you for taking the time and making the effort to organise this.

Id vote for you if we could get you into Parliament

Have you got your truck going? Going to enter? I'll bring the bits out, you might need to find me.

Yeah I`ll come find you. Na, not my Lexus. Got a play truck to drive while I finish home reno (evil bloody project sucking up all my 4x4 funds  ) and then building the lexus. I'm not competing - I've got some over heating issues I need to sort out before burring myself in mud

I'm coming out to watch tho - hopefully it pisses down before the event as just driving round that farm can be a laugh. I'll offer to help out on the day if necessary. Recon my truck would do pretty well in this comp though. Keep an eye out for me:

Nah, decided to park it up and get busy with "improvements" ;)

The winch is to small, its adequate for in the bush when in a pinch, but would be a waste of time trying to compete with it...........

Dan's zook has been parked up in the shop since the ORE BBQ and has been stripped and put back together again with disc brakes all round and a warn XD9000. With Dan being a ex gravel rally expert, he should pretty competative behind the wheel with someone to point him in the right direction :lol

this may be a stupid question, but will spectators be allowed? or is it not going to be accessable for the average person?

the park is pretty serious just to drive accross following the track mate and with the weather at the mo, if you have anything less than a very capable mud tyre on the vehicle you wont access the back of the property. and im not sure if people traveling on the back is allowed ? due to dangers associated. im sure steve will have more info.

I am sure some of the Marshall would be driving to stages (depending on where they are). Perhaps your fans can hitch rides with them/others rather than drive their own transport. There is a reason why the park is named "extreme", it is a bit of fun on a rainy day

I think the "missus's" are coming up with the Video camera's to catch some action for everyones viewing pleasure afterwards, so depending on whats allowed and the state of the ground (slippery grass, 3ton 4x4 and Satalite behind the wheel = ) they might take the 80 series and follow us around, or just come on foot

Someone's gotta get footage for us all!!!!!!!! :D

Hi Re access,While were not activley encouraging spectators if you have people that want to come along and support you that fine but a word of warning the park is very wet and unless they have good mud tyres they will not be allowed past the second gate ,even with good tyres there are 2 or 3 stages that we are restricting to competition and marshall trucks only which means that spectators will have to park up and walk the last 5-600 mtrs .We had a very capable 80 series up there on the weekend with a very experenced winch challenge competitor driving on ATs and even he did the big slide and had to be towed out ,so we will be enforcing this with no exceptions .It might sound that i am being a prick over this but its there safety and the the park we have to look out for..Steve

not at all mate, if i remember rightly there was a vehicle that slipped off one of the tracks over the back at the uphill drags going between stages and had to be recovered. those tracks when wet are not forgiving at all and after all, safety is paramount.

on that note, will the competing vehicles be allowed to take passengers/camera people out the back ? im assuming the stages will mostly be out the back ? once out there they can walk between stages ?

I think we have about 15 confermd entreies, that meens 15 trucks and if they all have 1 suport wagon that makes 30 trucks.
Plus about about 9 marshils and 3 or 4 recover trucks that makes about 42 trucks out on the fram. And it only takes one to fall off a track or get stuck in the wrong place to slow everything down. Not to mention the responsibilaty for everyones safty  Lucky Steve put his hand up for that one, I think. Well he hasn't made me sign anything yet, that I know of :?

I dont know if its been covered in an earlier post, but all support vehicles should realy be up to club trip standed eg.
Tow rope
fire extinguisher
first aid kit etc
That is if thay are going out on the farm
