duck shooting

Post by rangimotors »

well i had one of the best weekends ever, not hundreds of ducks like some other years but about 48 is still sweet with me, shot sat morning on the pond freezing my ass of in the maimai (it had snowed the night nefore) then sat arvo and sunday shot the stubble paddocks with some siloet decoys, stalked a couple of other ponds as well and had a great time.
probably shot about half of what i should of on sunday after a friggen huge night at the pub.
oh yea better add i was shooting in northern southland.
so come on how did others go?

canty,
mallards 25 max
paradise 5 max
greys 5

but i was shooting down in southland in the snow, they have pretty much the same limit, but greys and mallards come under same limit (20) and i think its 6 parrys. We have 12 guys shooting on my familys farm (some from north island and 2 from overseas) so if we split the ducks between us it gives a pretty large total limit.
