Try talking to Simon BIllington at OTR tyres in Auckland. OTR are Cooper importers and are something like a sub agent of the Aussie Cooper importer - who are also the Aussie agents for Mickey Thompson. I think Cooper might be owned by MT or vice versa in the USA, hence the tie up. Look them up in the internet white pages.

If they bring them in for you specially the freight cost, on top of an already expensive tyre, can be horrific. Better to plan well in advance so they can bring them in with a normal shipment. I'm thinking of going from my 35x13.5x15 bias ply Baja Claws to a new set of radials because mine are half worn now. Even so they still have enough grip to rip teeth off my front pinion in the mud. Hard to find a better tyre, even on road.

The tyres are really that good, sometimes too good. Mudzillas copy the tread pattern but they don't have the same level of technology in the case and sidewall. They're as hard as hell and last for ever on the road, if a lot noisy, and they have so much grip there's no forgiveness when it comes to CV's, axles and R&P sets, ask me how I know.

righto, the simple answer is NO

apparently, Segedins in auckland were bringing them in, but when I rang them they stated that they weren't bringing in 4wd tyres anymore as the cost was too much and no one was buying them.

so you will have to get them in from oz or the states dude

sorry

as with my previous answer

nobody has them and nobody is bringing them in

mike said they were too expensive for most folks and hence the reason that no one has them anymore.

sorry dude

you will have to import them yourself if you really want them

just use the maxxis mudzillas, they are pretty similar

I wouldnt bother with mudzillas unless they are your offroad only tyres. They only last 6 months onroad

It depends how you drive your vehicle on the road, how far you drive it and how often as to how long a mudzilla will last. But yes they are a very soft tyre that tends to wear quick on the road...

I don't think people have any problems with Mudzillas, as long as they remember they are getting what they paid for. That applies to the Mickeys as well of course.

that sounds right coz they will want a hefty deposit before they order them from the states

nobody wants to order a set of tyres that takes a few weeks/months to get here and then find the customer doesn't want them anymore

isnt that abit backwards mate?

why compromise your suspension and lessen your grund clearance just to fit a better tyre?

what tractin you would gain with better tyres you would lose by worse ground clearance and suspensin travel?

stop smoking that crack.....
