Things to check before trips?

Post by 4Paws »

Having come home from a trip and having a look over my vehicle only to find something that i really should have checked before i went out was damaged I have come to the conclusion i need some educating so could someone please point me in the direction of a list of things to check before going on trips? if not can people please post suggestions as i don't really want this to happen again and become rather costly and it would be good for newbies like me to know these things before hand.

CHECK EVERYTHING

THEN RECHECK EVERYTHING

THEN CHECK EVERYTHING YOU DIDN'T CHECK BEFORE

I STILL GUARANTEE YOU WILL FORGET SOMETHING

I normally do a walk around and do a quick check of things. Also do a visual under the belly. But more importantly, I definitely check fluid levels before leaving (and carry spare vital fluids).

I found that if you wrap savouries and sausage rolls and bread in tinfoil and stick in the valleys of inlet manifolds, its nice and toasty to eat by lunchtime 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Always take at least 6 more beers than you think you need. If you get stuck or break down it helps to pass the time
