I might have to pull her out of the game early so Daddy can drink beer, I will make it up to her by allowing her to drive home.

what time do ya reckon you will be getting to Upper Hutt ???
I will be leaving work just after 12 noon and farting around for an hour or so before heading in if you want to tag along.
I can meet you on the corner of moonshine rd and haywards hill if you like.
I will check this thread before I leave work and will PM my cell.
Cheers

Re: Rallywoods Working Weekend No 5 - 16/17/18 May
UPDATE:
Got a small amount of firewood cut
, the logsplitter made easy work of it, (suggestion was made to have a firewood day up there (if we can get it again) ie everyone who wants some bring a trailer etc, will put up a seperate thread re this). a lot of the lining and finishing work was done, still heaps more to do, looks like the showers won't be ready at this stage for QBW. priority at this stage is to get the bogs sorted. inside of the hut was cleaned.
Towed a load of rubbish to the tip up there this morning, had a slight trailer malfunction on the way there
, I think my navi SKID took some pick......its always the navi's fault ..... so SKID its your fault
BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED.
EDIT: heres the vid SKID took

The back board basically fell off due to Rot

if you are going up the track behind the gree hut, then keep an eye out on your right for the white curtain hanging in the trees and at that point you should floor it so as to glide over the broken glass

Thanks all, for making me feel welcome and helping me fit in. A great couple of days, and a great crew to be in there with.................THANKS GUYS (AND GIRLS), and will catch up again QBW.

Oh, nearly forgot, thanks Curly for showing me a "self tapper" screw, that wasn't quite being "self tapped", had never seen one before lol.

Sorry about that lads but by the time the game finished, mandatory icecream's etc it was after 2pm. It didn't help that I crushed my hand, thought I had broken a bone, I'm still not that convinced it's not, just need to see once the bruising goes down. Sooo I decided that the day was late and I wouldn't be much help with firewood anyway, glad to know I was missed

Wacko came to visit on Saturday night and brought along NJV6, who seemed to be a long way from home, but did fill us in with an interesting fact about Invercargill, that us Welly boys found hard to believe...............

Hey guys, just made it home.
I enjoyed Wellington but it was really hard work staying at the Intercontential for the week.....
Looked like a great site - you guys have done some cool work there. The wee Levin made it up to the airstrip
The alcohol thing - well we have a Licensing Trust which controls all the distribution, and yea - mostly 24's......
Good to meet some people - skid did you keep warm all night?? (the big softie went away and ran the cruiser for an hour before bed to warm it up!)

it was only half an hour and it was nearly as good as my electric blankie at home, I had one of my best nights sleep for months and was still first one up at 7.30am to get the fire cranking again.
