worsleys rd

Post by daneo »

went up for a look at Worsleys track today for the first time, had my pretty stock surf and a mates Isuzu Mu standard apart from 31 muds, was a beaut of a night! did pretty well for our first time defiantly the most challenging track I've been on so far! was really dry up there so the trickiest part was navigating round and over rocks and avoiding all the giant ruts(31" tyres :| ) would be great fun in the wet. Think we got about half way up then decided to call it a night as the Mu's transfer case was going to take a beating on the rocks. took a few pictures

check out that articulation....

You should try it in the snow :D :D We went up a few years back, 7 trucks, real wet. All modified as well. None of us made it up, too much damage and we had to recover a rolled vehicle, some muppets thought it was a good idea to follow us   .

Haha yea i don't think my 31" AT's would cope to well with snow! am going to wait until i get some 33" muds and some bash guards then have a proper shot at getting to the top, hopefully its wet next time! :D . I think its a good learning track as long as you take your time and are not stupid about it, I can see how easy it would be to roll up there without the proper setup, we got out of the trucks and walked a couple of the hard parts before attempting them

Why does almost everyone want to go up there in the wet????????

It is WAAYYY more fun in the dry. Lots of traction, Lots of wicked articulation work outs, Lots of flop overs, And even 1 rock to climb up and down    .

haha good times, always a good fun track, especially at night. We used to go up there at lunchtimes while at school, then come back with my truck absolutely covered in mud. lol

Is there still that mud run at the bottom?
