ok so iver had a good look at the air intake on my mu ( 2.8 turbo ) and it seems really restrictive , ie : the amount of tight bends and small diameter piping , will it improve performance if i get a bigger diameter , free flowing pipe made up from the turbo back ? has any one done this ? also im keen on a snorkel , how do you go about getting one or making one for a MU ?

Both Airflow and Airtec make one for the MU. The airflow one will cost you around $320, the Airtec (which is FAR better looking) will cost around $500.
Airflow from most 4WD shops, or better you can get one from Andrew on the ClubIsuzu.com forums for about $300 (he did a bulk buy)
The airtec ones seem to be available from Fully Equipped, which probably accounts for their high price... I did a look around and couldn't find anyone else who had them.
As for plumbing, look on the club isuzu forums for a post about modified inlet or something similar, as there was a post about opening up the restrictive inlet on those.
regards
Steve
