what offset rims??????

Post by gimmemud »

Hi guys, looking to get some 15x10 rims for my 35x13.5x15 mudzillas i just purchased and wondering what offset i should get them? I want them out wide so they don't hit the leaf springs at the front of my truck (84 surf).
Cheers in advance, Tim

if you're buying white spokes, i'm fairly certain they only come in one offset (-44)
80 Series on 35" creepies, manual with twin factory lockers.

have just done a quick calculation and there is bugger all difference

backspace on an 8" rim is roughly 92.3mm
backspace on a 10" rim is roughly 95.7mm

so I think :?: :?: :?: that you will have a 10" rim that sits 3.4mm closer to the truck

but 10" rims do look cool

my calculations were based on a 10" rim with -44 and 8" rim with -22 offset

the main place of tire rub is at the rear of the front wheel opening against the firewall most just remove the plastic inner guard and carefull fold over the panel.. ( just beat the shit out of it with the biggest hammer you can find ) It may take abit of work as its multi skinned (lots of beating)
cheers
