Attaching High Lift to back of Spare

Errr, subject already says it all really. Noting the jack only cost me like 95$ Im not keen on spending another 50 for a special attachment. Whats the story? I have a LWB Safari if that matters

Will take some pics of mine, but its basically just some threaded rod through the spare holder, you slip the rod through the holes in the jack and then tighten the jack down onto the spare wheel.

Pictures will tell all. Writing it on my hand as we speak..........

be careful putting the jack on the back of the spare,
if you go over steep drop offs and such, the base of the jack can hit the ground and at best hang you there , at worst bend the whole shooting match up enough to stuff the tyre and jack through the back window.

i keep hitting my spare wheel let alone having anything else there.

just a thought that may save some stress at a later date!

Nother thing too, unless you have a spare wheel carrier seperate from the Rr door, the added weight bouncing up and down will create havoc with the spare wheel mount, the door hinges and rear door opening.

Best thing is to sharpen the top end into a point and mount it under the body, up front, pointing forwards........ look for Jaffa Remmers Wagons.....

that and collecting branches and rocks....

on the spare or even, since ya got a lwb, in cab possible?
