Dear Diary,
Spent the holiday weekend working............
Saturday ,
Weather fine track dry as and not too much work.
Two solo riders a wee bit sore after the day , but all good.
Gee , swingers can slide a long way,
but they can have an even longer walk back to the pit,
passed lots of 4wd's on there way home from a day out

Sunday,
I could have done with your heat pump skid,
what happened to the sun ....
Would loved to have taken my truck out on the track,
so much mud
but no, rain (surprise we were having a drought),
windchill somewhere below zero ,
more 4wd's on the way home

Monday ,
Day off , yay you would think ,
but no , didn't get to find out what that funny noise is in my truck
Didn't get anywhere near it
Roll on Saturday ,
I think I'm working on my truck
I better be
may be I should just book the mechanic,

So basically no achievement at all for the long weekend
but loved reading the posts of the weekend trips elsewhere

ps. I even missed out wearing my Holden Jacket at the All Ford show this year

Don't worry, all I did was fit a toilet, spent half the time (ok that's an exaggeration) hanging over the bowl fitting the plumbing. But I got the job flushed now - just need to sand and restop around the pipe work and paint. Then I can rip the old one out and start on the kitchen...

Oh I did a little 2wding while cutting along the Ashley to go home, nice and slick after the rain, Got to be careful how hard you go with two nice pieces of porcelain in the back.

Got a txt at 11pm sunday asking if I was in bed yet (was asleep) mate was wanting a tow, but managed to winch himself out through three holes.
