new here need to find some mud

Post by arby92 »

Hi all

im a aucklander, been 4wding for a while in my crappy old lwb gen 1 pajero, it didnt get very far and i have become good with a shovel.

I recently purchased the supercahrged v6 bighorn listed on here and trademe for sale. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=10853, got it off the transporter last friday night and took it up to the ahipara gum fields for the weekend. Ive discovered my driving ability is not quite up to the truck but there is only one way to learn.

Looking forward to being part of the community and hopefully getting to do the infamous thompsons track everyone talks about so much.I am also looking forward to the opening of the woodhill 4wd forest park.

This would be good for you. It can be as easy or as hard as you want to make it. The drive to Rotorua would be worth it.

Thanks, might check the rotorua trip out. Could be good to learn a few things.

I went in a hole that was a little bit deeper than I thought and the water was just lapping over the bonnet on the weekend and I ended up sh*%@#ng myself thinking I was about to kill it on the first outing but it just managed to crawl out. You wouldnt know what the red missile looking switch in the middile console behind the gear lever is would you?

Cheers,

Adam
