there is a guy an trde me that does but its about $150.

I have a link to sight with the full 800 + page factory manual for the silvias. This inludes full indepth wiring diagrams (one component at a time. Cant find it at the moment but prett sure I posted it a while back for someone.

I'm about to do my Ca18. Looks like the AAC, FICD, Fuel pressure solonoid, A/C stuff can all go. I'm also losing the ECCS relay and will just live all the bits that get power from there on the master switch. Revolution, speed and Tacho are also surplus. At a push I would imagine the Detonation sensor, exhaust gas, and water temp would also be extra.

Really just leaves coils via the power pack, Airflow, Throttle Position, Crank angle, Injectors via dropping resistor, and a few power inputs. All of the above have a positive from the ECCS relay which recieves its neg pulse from the computor.

Dont quote me on any of this. i have spent a fair bit of time reading the manual sorting what does what and what is required and whas just nice to have for day to day driveability.

Prob doesn't really help answer your actual question but may help if you decide to have a crack at DIY

thanks alot Dan , i will have a look at that , it is a high port sr20 de that i am putting into a scudo chassis, im running the fwd gearbox so i get a 4.2 to 1 reduction with the nissan diff which is welded, then through to hilux diffs with 4.88 gears,im building a c class trials truck but sturdy enough to use as a club truck, apart from the steering and tyres im building it for less than what people spend on a locker :D .been gathering parts for a while so now have 3 sr20 5spds, 4 hilux axles,2 front 2 rear, a few 4.88 heads including 1 v6 4 pinion lsd for the front, and lots of other bits and pieces like discs and calipers, i will look at putting a factory turbo on it later if need be for a bit more lollys :D .cheers

Sounds like a good toy. Basis sounds same as mine. Built with both trials and club work in mind.

I like your optimism with the budget. I was working on the same theory for a while. But the closer I get the more it seems to cost. All that paint, hoses, wiring, etc etc add up in the end. I'm scared of the roll cage. Will be doing it myself/with assistance of freinds but with steel prices the way they are

But hey gotta spend my hard earnt coin on something other wise the missus will.

Good luck with the build and we need pics/thread.

Hi I have done two of these looms now, the first I made up myself after I had fitted the motor and this took quite a lot (time, head scratching and beer), the second I kept the engine loom on the engine when I removed it including the computor plug. To do this you will need to cut the wires that go from the computor plug towards the dash, give yourself 200 or 300 mm of length, from there i just followed the wiring diagram from one of those car manuals (Hayes?) and basically just connected up the power supplies as required through a new 6 gang fuse box and three solinoids, Engine management, fans and fuel pump, apart from this I think there was a black and yellow wire positive to the alternater area. I keep the whole computer, solinoids and fuses in a small water tight box between the seats. Fairly easy but in truth if I could have found someone to do for $150 I would have gone that way. Hope this helps and good luck.

PS if you do it yourself, the numbers that are given for the computer terminals are found insde the computor hosing itself.
