The info that Monstaman has been posting is worth reading. it is just the avatar that is the issue.

your fellow cantabrian who came up with the brilliant idea for this site, removed this avatar off his own profile at the request of many users.

I have personally had a board warning about one of my avatars which was not as bad as this one.

so I personally think there is a standard to uphold

if its good enough for the boss to not have it, then everyone elsr should follow suit

rant over, my 2c worth :x :x :x :x

and I agree that the site has changed along with the whole countries outlook on day to day life.

we're (nz) not heading in a good direction, if ya ask me

I agree with skid!

To all the goodie two shoers, this is nothing more than you see on a public beach, WTF is wrong with you people, how about the poofs who don't like it go and we stay!!, or if you don't like it DON'T LOOK .. put me on your banned list so you won't see my threads!!

If it were exposed nipples (if I am allowed to say that) then yeap fine but I think the 70% probably comes from people who are skunking the site from work when they shouldn't be or just plain need to get out more.

dazza85 politely informed me it was porn ... WTF ?? get a life and get out more Daryle and buy a proper truck while you are at it if that is yours on your avatar, I am offended by your truck, now does that make me or you wrong?

It is acceptable to see such a thing on a public beach what is the problem here, it is even on TV in ya face.

Dear mods, I accept this seems to be a great site but don't get pushed into a corner because a only few get all PC and possibly offended by non bare boobs, I think it sucks (and I know I am not the minority on this) when you can't appreciate it for what its is which I believe they call fun

daza85, if that is all you have to worry about you don't know you are alive!

We've already been through all this crap over and over and over and over again. So just pull your head in and get on with it. Who cares if you can't have a boobie avatar on a 4WD forum?

Mike (the OffroadExpress founder) and myself have discussed disabling avatars altogether because we are sick of dealing with people that think it's their God given right to rebel against society. Take that as a warning.

Heya Mark, I will consider myself spanked.

Who cares if you can't have a boobie avatar on a 4WD forum? = dazza

I will take my fun and real time fourwheeling to the tracks were it belongs, can't be bothered with keyboard tuffies.

Anyway, won't bother posting here again as the political BS is worse than the Labour Party with, have fun gents.

was impressive to see your towing effort, shame about the rest

I enjoyed watching the vids while they lasted

if you do decide to repost in the future, it may be a friendly gesture if you were to remove someone elses avatar off your profile 8) 8) 8) 8)

Seriously guys if you can't listen to what the moderators say then you have no business being here. We don't have time for childish antics. I have been working 3 jobs up untill now, trying to rebuild this site, trying to keep my 4wd going (which just died and i cant afford to get another injector pump for it) let alone read all the posts on here and then have to moderate the bullshit out of them. This will be the 3rd time now that the avatar has landed on my plate (albeit I hope marks intervention and words got through). Its currently looking like I'll have to bring the supporters avatars back in sooner than expected, and with these will come rules defined by the community around half a year ago, not just what you think should go.

Mike,

in the past, I have caused you some grief for which I am truly sorry etc etc

but, would it be an idea to open this up to a poll to gauge opinion, although most have spoken already

or maybe a simple rule

AVATAR TO BE A PIC OF YOUR 4WD

just an idea

Some time ago there was a decision made here to reduce the capacity to offend those who might be looking over our shoulders whilst at work.....

Hope to see you up for a play on Al's trip.
John

Heya John .. just what we need more PCism on our play ground, I think there is a bunch of people on this earth that need to harden up and get on with life and don't look at it if they don't want too, fairly simple really, won't be too long and you won't be able to fart in public without being done.... next thing there will be sugar free Chocolate and fat free pies!!!

I tried a polite PM and got the same response. I have sent Mark a PM.

Dazza you're a shit stirrer, do you always go running to mummy when you don't get what you want  yet again a good thread is hijacked, and a potentially good person to have on the site is tuning out because of some PC crap. And we wonder why the site ain't as good as it used to be

seems the southerners are closing rank on this one

if it makes you feel any more grumpy

I actually reported this avatar thingy too, coz of having been told off before, I felt this person needed to be reminded also.

he made it worse by stealing someones elses avatar after the fact, thats just being stupid

I think this just needs to be left alone now.

hes been told off, hes got grumpy about it, theres no need for everyone else to start a witch hunt too.

my 2c, rant over for good this time.

righto wheres the other topics without the lynch mob

by the way, I'm still impressed by that towing effort. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Hi Skid

How do you steal something of a public forum?

Anyway thanks for that, I must say thanks to Mrs Bulletproof Janet who does a dam good video too. She catches all our acts of uncalculated stupidity on film.

By the way no snails where harmed or trees cut down to make that video.

Totally green or course
