4d56 injector pumps non turbo and turbo diff ?

ok i actually know the diff its the top section of the pump so what i'm wondering is can you take the top section of one pump and transfer it too another, i personally cant see why not as all thats holding that top section of the pump down to the rest of the pump is a spring (talking Inside pump ) so its got nothing to do with the guts of the pump, reason i'm doing this is i have a brand new non turbo pump and a flogged turbo one! and a turbo ute , well i'm guna do it anyways see what happens most likely, if it works certainly opens up more opportunities! for pumps!

ive been given nonturbo pump and have a leeking turbo one

Nah havnt yet but guna try in the next week had to put my truck in hiding coz the repo hguys after it due to last guy owe money on it, so i'll let u know when i get it done! i cant see why it wouldnt work aye plus the pump only takes couple hours to change worth a shot !

Yup worked! had too do a few little mods nothing serious, but other than that works fine!
